Why Charcuterie Makes You Look Fancy (Even If You're on a Budget)

Share
Charcuterie (say it with us: shar-KOO-tuh-ree) started in France with cured meats and evolved into something even better—snack boards that look amazing and taste even better. Cheese? Yes. Crackers? Absolutely. Dried fruit, dips, chocolate chips? All fair game.
It’s not about spending a lot—it’s about arranging food so it feels like a moment. Want to impress your roommate? Set up a mini board. Hosting friends or movie night? Pull out your snack artist skills.
Here are two boards to try:
1. Classic & Classy: Salami, cheddar, grapes, almonds, jam or honey, and crackers.
2. Budget & Brilliant: Apple slices, pretzel sticks, popcorn, baby carrots, hummus, and a few chocolate chips.
