Those last little soap slivers? Don’t toss them. You can actually turn them into whole new bars — and yes, it works. This is one of those “random things I wish I learned sooner” that saves money, cuts down on waste, and feels way more grown-up than it should.
This free printable shows you how to do it with stuff you already have: water, heat, a bowl, and some fridge time. That’s it. Collect those soap slivers in a sealable storage bag or container until you have enough. You’ll end up with a fresh bar of soap—and some budget-saving bragging rights.
This tip comes from the Unsolicited Advice for the High School Graduate book—a super-readable collection of smart stuff for life after high school. Helpful. Funny. And occasionally brilliant.
